Independence

Independent advice, in writing

Disclosed at the outset

Kalabeta sells independent advice, and the Kalabeta group owns platforms. Where a group product is a candidate in work we advise on, the interest is disclosed in writing at the outset and Kalabeta takes no part in scoring.

Written into the engagement letter

Where the client prefers, an independent evaluator is appointed at our cost. This is contract language, not judgment on the day, because in public procurement an undisclosed related-party interest is a disqualification.

Nothing riding on the answer

We hold no reseller agreements and earn no licence or hardware margin. We would rather lose a platform sale than compromise the advice, because the advice is the business.
